Wranglers wide receiver Arsiah McCorker, (RZ) was a spark plug for the Wranglers during their season opener against the Arizona Rattlers. McCorker played his first game in the IFL as a rookie and stormed onto the scene with three total touchdowns on Saturday evening. McCorker ran two kickoff returns all the way to the end zone for touchdowns. These two scores by McCorker were on returns of 55 and 58 yards respectively. McCorker totaled 149 kickoff return yards, averaging 21.3 yards per return. On both kickoff scores, the Wranglers fans inside the Findlay Toyota Center were ignited with ample energy.
 
McCorker also had a profound impact on the offensive side of the ball, hauling in three receptions for 45-yards and one touchdown. Opposing teams will have to keep a close eye on number seven for the duration of the 2024 IFL season. RZ is a quick and shifty player with great awareness and skills to make defenders miss in space. McCorker earns the IFL Special Teams Player of the Week in his first game as a pro. This was no surprise to anyone within the Wranglers organization and was well earned by McCorker.
 
McCorker becomes the first Wranglers player to earn the nod as an IFL Player of the Week in 2024. The Wranglers next game will be on Saturday, March 30^th against the Tucson Sugar Skulls. The Wranglers will return home to Clarion Pointe field inside the Findlay Toyota Center for game two, with the theme being Easter and our High School Football Challenge.
