King (6'1", 225 lbs.) is originally from Columbia, S.C. King moved to Smiths Station, Ala., during his childhood. King played football at Smiths Station High School, before earning a full-ride scholarship to Holmes Community College, in Goodman, Miss. Prior to his junior year, King transferred to Delta State University, in Cleveland, Miss. King played on a full-ride football scholarship for the Statesmen.

King had a tremendous football career at Delta State, earning a spot on the 2019 All-Gulf South Conference (GSC) First Team during his senior year. In 2019, King was named the GSC Defensive Player of the Week on two occasions. During that season, King posted 84 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, and three quarterback hurries.

King credits his parents as his inspiration to play football. Both of his parents were enlisted in the United States Armed Forces. King also added that the military and football have a lot in common.

This will be the first year that King has played football at the professional level. King is really excited to get back on the field for the first time since his senior year at Delta State. King has also never been to Arizona, citing the state as one of the top places he's always wanted to visit. King loves the mountains; he is excited to come to Prescott Valley to play for the Wranglers.
