NORTHERN ARIZONA WRANGLERS SIGN DB TRAE MEADOWS

The Wranglers Welcome Defensive Back Trae Meadows to NAZ for the 2022 season

DB-Trae Meadows 6'1" 185 lbs
Meadows is from Greensboro, N.C., where he played football at Dudley High School. While playing at Dudley, Meadows earned his full-ride football scholarship to N.C. State. After his freshman year, Meadows was offered a full-ride scholarship, as he transferred to Garden City Community College, in Garden City, Kan. Meadows played his sophomore season at the junior college level for the Broncbusters. The following year, Meadows became a three-star junior college transfer, as he moved on to Western Kentucky University, in Bowling Green, Ky.

Meadows had a ton of success for the Hilltoppers, as he was named as an honorable mention for the All-Conference team in both 2019 and 2020. In 2020, Meadows posted 28 total tackles, had one forced fumble, one interception and one sack. This outstanding performance on the field earned Meadows a PFF (Pro Football Focus) All-Conference first team selection for that season. Meadows graduated cum laude from Western Kentucky, in the Fall of 2020, with his bachelor's degree in Business.

Meadows credits his brother, Quan, as his inspiration to play the game of football. Meadows stated that Quan played football with him when he was as young as two years old. His brother played defensive back at Elizabeth State University, in Elizabeth City, N.C. Watching his brother play defensive back inspired him to play the position as well. Meadows is excited and grateful for the opportunity to play for the Northern Arizona Wranglers. Meadows wants to thank God for this moment. This season will be the first time Meadows has ever stepped foot in the state of Arizona.

Welcome to the Wranglers Trae!
